WHAT'S NEW FOR Version 1.9/Release 0.7

NEW FEATURES/CHANGES

New probes system (eventually will be only for upgraded battlecruisers).  Consists of two parts: Probe Launch Control (PLC) & Probes Operations Control (POC). 

PLC allows you to select the mode (Passive, Search, or Explore) and launch the probe. Once launched, control is taken over by the POC, which can control up to 12 probes simultaneously. Search Mode does a standard CW search pattern of the system then switches to Passive Mode. Explore mode will visit each viable planet in turn, scan it, then move to the next. At the end it also  switches to Passive Mode. Detailed explanation is in the Version Notes. 

When you select the onboard information [Ctrl][I], there is an index and a direct link to the ship's reference library.  

When the TDB is placed on a star system in one of the star maps, besides the identity of the system, its regional location will also be shown.  

It takes a double confirmation to Exit to DOS. 

XO has an even larger role in running the ship.
